A sponsored package is a branded content initiative where a series of articles are sponsored by a brand. These articles feature the sponsor’s logo, align with their messaging goals, and are accompanied by display ads across the package.

As Art Director, I led the visual direction for each package—collaborating closely with editorial, writers, and editors to ensure the design supported both the sponsor’s goals and Investopedia’s audience. I researched target demographics and user intent to craft visuals that delivered clear, strategic messaging and drove engagement.


Action Plan 2025

Sponsor: iShares
A mid-year outlook and strategy series designed to help investors reassess and refine their plans for the second half of 2025. Featuring insights from Investopedia’s “Investor Activity Survey,” the package explored market trends, portfolio shifts, and long-term goals—positioning iShares as a trusted partner for informed investing.

iShares sponsored the package to align their brand with forward-thinking strategies and reach high-intent investors actively planning their next moves.

I collaborated with Zach Hackman to art direct and illustrate Google Discover-optimized visuals for the landing page and editorial content. Design choices were guided by performance data and crafted to support iShares’ messaging while maximizing visibility and engagement.

A new-to-market editorial resource offering strategic insights for financial advisors aiming to build resilient, future-ready portfolios through innovation and tech sector investments. The series featured market research, investment strategies, and recommendations tailored for advisors focused on long-term growth.

We partnered with Jun Cen for the landing page illustration and Julie Bang for supporting article visuals. I served as Art Director, guiding the visual identity of the package to align with sponsor goals and appeal to a forward-looking, advisor audience.
